An example of our success*
1. Writ of Habeas Corpus Granted
Client plead guilty to violation of Vehicle Code section 23153 and Penal Code section 12022.7 based upon the advice of his then-attorney. The judge mistaken advised defendant at sentencing that the client would have to go to prison for up to 7 years. We researched this issue, contacted the previous attorney, and filed a Writ of Habeas Corpus. The judge issued the Writ. The case was reopened and sent back to the trial court for a new sentencing.
